Walls are down...

We’re well on our way to opening the doors to the new, improved, and BIGGER SOUTHERN MOUNTAIN GEAR store.  We closed yesterday for a major renovation project, and I am happy to announce we are on track to complete our renovations and reopen with regular business hours on 9/16/2024.  We hope this temporary closure has not adversely impacted your training or adventure endeavors.  We are happy to have you back in our new space soon. 

As many of you know, SMG shared the 2^nd floor of 138 West Seaton Blvd in Hagatna across from Skinner Plaza for the last 5 years.  The space was a quaint space with bold colors and textures.  Dan and Erin prided themselves on fun styles, flashy colors and functional products for your outdoor needs.  We are continuing this tradition as we blow out the walls and double our retail space with approximately 1100 square feet of new retail space. 

Last night Jack, Matt, and I toiled until after dark to remove the debris and prep the space for new flooring and paint.  The final touch of paint for the walls was completed last night as well and this morning I hauled up about 1200# of new flooring.  Our efforts have opened the entire 2^nd floor offering an open floor plan that will house expanded options in the brands you have come to love like Salomon, Cotopaxi, Goodr and many, many others.

Since our inception, SMG has been pleased to be your choice for outdoor gear, supplies, and accessories. We hope you will continue to call SOUTHERN MOUNTAIN GEAR one of your favorite spots on Guam in 2024 with a nomination in PIKA’S BEST “Sporting Goods Store.”  We want to continue to earn your business and patronage through great interactions with our teammates while supplying you with tried and tested gear for exciting outdoor races and adventures scheduled in 2024 and into 2025!
